  1. Thanks for all these very useful resources. I try the 'Erre y erre ...' and 'Tres tristes tigres ...' tongue twisters from time to time. Are there any other sounds that English learners need to practice especially to sound more Spanish?

    I´m glad you´re finding the ´trabalenguas´ useful.
    I think it's always a good idea to go back to the alphabet from time to time and revise all the particularities of the language.
    Other notable differences with English include ´j´, ´ñ´ and the ´occlusive or stop consonants´ (p, b, t, d and ca/co/cu), which are softer and not ´aspirated´ in Spanish).
    I would also recommend practising the five vowels, remembering to render them short and clipped.
    The BBC has an audio file with the pronunciation of the alphabet on its excellent languages site (see post under ´pronunciation´).
