The Spanish beer brand Estrella Damm is famous for its spectacular and fanciful adverts-cum-short films, which often feature popular actors and catchy music. They also show snippets of the wonderful things that make a Mediterranean summer like no other, like cooking paella on a barbecue with a group of friends (one of the best things in life), with incredible images of the beautiful Balearic Islands and the Catalan coast.
On this particular short, directed by Alejandro Amenábar (The Others, Open your eyes, The sea inside, Agora, Regression), Dakota Johnson plays the role of a tourist in one of the lovely sunny Spanish islands and Quim Gutiérrez, the only non-English speaker who tries to convey the meaning of this ubiquitous Spanish word (in his own Spanglish way) while trying to make friends with her.
