Seis pacientes que tienen tastorno obsesivo-compulsivo (TOC) se conocen en la sala de espera de la consulta de un eminente psicólogo.

Por causas desconocidas, el médico va con retraso y los seis pacientes comienzan a interactuar organizando un tipo de terapia de grupo.

For unknown reasons, the doctor is late and the six patients start to interact forming a kind of group therapy.

Uno de los pacientes con TOC (trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo) tiene coprolalia, un tipo de Tourette (un trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo según el cual el paciente dice obscenidades sin querer). El paciente no puede controlarlo. 

Cuando vemos a este personaje por primera vez, sus acciones pueden ser desagradables.

One of the patients with obsessive compulsive disorder has coprolalia, a type of Tourette (an obsessive compulsive disorder by which the patient says obscenities without wanting to). The patient cannot control it.

Speaking a language confidently and coherently is an important part of the curriculum throughout the four devolved education departments in the United Kingdom, and forms a critical part of linguistic and cultural development for all learners of languages.

However, the impact of Covid-19 has meant that many pupils have had fewer opportunities to speak the languages they are learning.  Therefore, the Association for Language Learning, the British Council and the cultural and linguistic bodies in the United Kingdom have combined efforts to devise an exciting event entitled ‘Express Yourself in Lockdown’.

This will be an opportunity to showcase language learners’ enjoyment of a language that they are learning or that is normally used in their home community from home (except for English!).
