Barquito de cascara de nuezThis is one of my favourite children songs ever. Its simple, playful lyrics and tune are embedded in my generation´s collective consciousness.
It brings back memories of happy Saturday afternoons spent watching Miliki´s wonderful ´Payasos de la Tele´ (TV´s Clowns) enchanting their young audience with their warm hearts and endearing good humour.
In this clip the late Miliki, and his son, Emilio Aragón, sing it live for a charity event, together with a Spanish singer.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad I managed to see the charity event performance, but unfortunately its link seems to have disappeared. There does still seem to be a cartoon version of the same performance (I think) on YouTube.

ReplyDeleteI've replaced the first link with another version of the same charity event performance. The quality of the image is poor but I think it's still nice to watch Miliki and company performing live.
